The aliens captured the spacecraft on which the "Cube" station was built to study human capabilities. During the attack, most of the people were able to hide in an array of cubes that are part of the station system. Unknown technology of the alien ship has erased the memory of the crew and captured a number of functions by which aliens destroy all people outside the cube. People in the system do not remember how they got there and what to do, but they know that in the cubes there is a threat that is not so easy to overcome.
